Poko Makes its Ireland AM Debut with Jess Redden
Poko has made its Ireland AM debut this week and the team couldn't be more excited. The segment, which aired on June 2nd, was presented by Tommy Bowe & Muireann O’Connell alongside Jess Redden and focused on the effects Polycystic Ovary Syndrome can have on your skin & overall health.

Pharmacist and brand ambassador, Jess Redden talked about PCOS, hormonal acne and how to look after your skin with Poko’s vegan and cruelty-free skincare range. Jess talked through the hero products in our range for this condition, mainly our Purifying Gel Cleanser, Soothing Serum, Azelaic Acid & Daily SPF50 Moisturiser and talked about their ingredients. Watch the full segment below.

Ireland AM is the longest-running daytime show in Ireland featuring the latest news, lifestyle features, human interest and consumer affairs presented by the Ireland AM team. Ireland AM airs weekdays from 7am to 10am and is the only Irish breakfast show on air.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome affects 1 in 10 women in Ireland and 1 in 5 women in the UK, making a common hormonal imbalance. According to pennmedicine, “It is estimated that between five to 10 percent of U.S. women of childbearing age have PCOS. That's about 5 million women, which makes the condition one of the most common hormonal endocrine disorders among women of reproductive age.” Poko’s aim is to provide long term skin solutions to people with this condition and continue to build a following within the PCOS community.

Earlier this year we launched our 'Commit to Go Beyond Skin Deep' campaign with Jess Redden & her husband, Irish Rugby Legend Rob Kearney. The campaign is to raise awareness about how all aspects of your lifestyle affect your skin from diet, to exercise, to sleep. Watch the video ad below.
